Open a WhatsApp chat without saving the number

Open in WhatsApp

How it works

  1. Paste or type the number in any format, for example 0152 1234567 or tel:+49…
  2. Check the country. It is picked from your time zone, and the national 0 is replaced with the country code.
  3. Write a message if you like, then tap “Open in WhatsApp”.

Questions

Do I need to save the number to my contacts?
No. The page builds a wa.me link, and WhatsApp opens a chat with that number directly.
Is the number stored or sent anywhere?
No. Everything happens in your browser. Only your last message and chosen country are kept on your device.
